Job Description

Job Title:
Die Cast Machine Operator Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Die Cast Machine Operator to support the production of aluminum and magnesium die cast parts. These parts vary in weight from several ounces to over 30 pounds. The role involves operating die casting machinery and inspecting parts post-production using visual checks and plug gauges. The production supports industries such as Medical, Automotive, and Power Sports. Responsibilities Operate die casting machinery efficiently. Perform visual inspections of produced parts. Utilize plug gauges for part inspection. Ensure quality control in the production of parts for various industries. Maintain a high standard of safety and cleanliness in the work environment. Essential Skills 6+ months of machine operating experience in a production setting, preferably at a die cast facility. Proficiency in general labor, manufacturing operations, and die casting processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with deburring, grinding, and use of micrometers and inspection equipment. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and perform inspections efficiently. Work Environment The facility operates 24/7, manufacturing die cast products for various industries using aluminum and magnesium. The work environment can be hot and dirty, yet we pride ourselves on being the cleanest die cast facility in the Twin Cities. Safety glasses and ear plugs are mandatory at all times.
Shifts include:
1st shift Monday
  • Thursday 6am to 4:30pm, 2nd shift Monday
  • Thursday 5:00pm
  • 3:30am with a $0.50 shift differential, and a weekend shift Friday
  • Sunday 6am to 6pm with a $2.
00 shift differential. Possible overtime may be required on Fridays. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of
MINNEAPOLIS, MN.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00
  • $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
