Machine Operator (Die Cutting)

Die Cutting Machine Operator (Precision Circular Cutting) We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Die Cutting Machine Operator to join our production team. This role focuses on the high-precision cutting of circular components across a diverse range of materials. As a specialist in circular die cutting, you will be responsible for managing the entire process from machine setup to quality inspection. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional who can work independently, troubleshoot mechanical nuances on the fly, and maintain high standards of accuracy.

Key Responsibilities Machine Operation:

Set up and operate various die cutting machines.

Material Handling:

Cut or plane product to proper width and thickness.

Daily Production Tracking:

Track precise production counts throughout the shift and enter all data into the computer system daily to ensure accurate inventory and progress reports.

Tooling & Maintenance:

Install, align, and change out circular dies. Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs to ensure minimal downtime.

Quality Control:

Conduct frequent visual and dimensional inspections to ensure all circles meet strict diameter tolerances and edge quality standards.

Independent Workflow:

Manage production schedules and material waste independently, ensuring daily output targets are met without constant supervision.

Requirements & Qualifications Experience:

Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience operating die cutting machinery is required .

Technical Skills:

Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read technical specifications.

Precision:

High level of manual dexterity and an "eagle eye" for detail.

Independence:

Proven ability to troubleshoot issues and manage a workstation solo.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand for long periods and lift material rolls or tooling (up to 50 lbs).
