If you thrive on precision, momentum, and safety, this role puts advanced fabrication tools in your hands and real impact on your team's output. You will Cut pipe to exact lengths with rotary chop and band saws. Move pipe along the work table; off-load to carts/crates and stage in the load zone. Groove pipe ends using Victaulic or Pace machines. Thread pipe to spec on a powered threader. Apply fittings using Mercury or Pace make-on equipment. Cut threaded rod on a band saw and install hanger devices to specified lengths. Grind/chamfer threaded rod ends on a bench grinder for proper fitment. Push loaded pipe carts to the designated loading area. Staple cartons to pallets with a pneumatic stapler. Operate a forklift as needed to retrieve, move, and stage materials. Bundle and secure shipments with a pneumatic bander. Complete all required training and demonstrate role competence. Use PPE at all times and follow SOPs and company policies. Handle additional duties to support operations as assigned by the fabrication lead, fabrication manager, or branch operations manager. You bring Ability to follow standard practices and oral instructions, apply basic arithmetic, maintain simple records, and use basic office tools (high school education or equivalent). At least 3 years in a high-volume, multi-task production setting with tight timelines.
Helpful:
prior welding experience and the ability to become certified. Comfort with whole-number/decimal math and reading a tape measure to 1/4-inch. Tools you'll handle Saws, threaders, grinders, pneumatic bander, pneumatic stapler, forklift, pallet jack, hand trucks. Common hand tools including wrenches and screwdrivers.
