Operator

Overview We are seeking an Operator to join us at our site in Dunn, NC. You will set up and operate semi-automatic and manual machines, including machine shop and special purpose. Previous direct experience isn't required, training will be provided. Previous experience working in manufacturing environment will be a plus. We are looking for someone to work 2nd shift. Starting hourly rate is $18.45/hr + shift differential. Great benefits with stability and growth potential. Monday-Thursday

Responsibilities Set up and operate a variety of machining operations on standard and specialized machine shop equipment such as lightband lapping, polishing, tool grinding, etc.. Use a variety of cutting tools including diamond grinding wheels. Knowledge of simple algebra and plane geometry. Read and understand instructional materials and/or process plans. Insure that route sheets, drawings and other specifications are met on the products produced by performing a first piece inspection. Troubleshoot moderately complex mechanical devices.

Qualifications Additional Requirements:

Must be able to read and understand somewhat complicated blueprints and the accumulative effect of tolerances. Must be able to set up and operate machinery in the department.

Physical Requirements:
