Lead operator

Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Lead Machine Operator who can also perform concrete finishing and holds a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) . This role is essential to our construction and grading operations, overseeing heavy equipment operation, ensuring project quality, and safely transporting materials and equipment as needed. Duties Perform concrete finishing tasks, including forming, pouring, leveling, and finishing slabs, sidewalks, and other structures. Safely transport materials and equipment using CDL-qualified vehicles. Inspect machinery and equipment daily; perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and job site regulations at all times. Communicate effectively with project managers and team members to keep projects on schedule. Operate heavy machinery, including bulldozers, excavators, graders, and loaders, with precision and efficiency. Experience Proven experience in excavation or construction environments, preferably in a supervisory or lead role. Strong knowledge of grading/concrete processes, equipment operation, and safety regulations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Good problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
