Deburr/Polisher- 2nd Shift

We are seeking a skilled Deburr/Polisher . This role requires attention to detail for deburring, polishing and completing final visual inspection of aircraft components and other high-tech assemblies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Polish various metals including but not limited to: stainless and tool steels, inconel, monel, titanium & aluminum. Strong hand-eye coordination, with polishing under magnification. Remove burrs and blend surfaces to visual standards, print tolerances and dimensional records using hand tools such as deburr knives, files, Dremels etc. as well as polishing lathes. Careful handling, cleaning and packaging of the parts and part features to ensure customer standards are maintained. Read and interpret prints to identify deburring and dimensional requirements. Accurately fill out corresponding paperwork on each job. Communicate any roadblocks to the management team. Duties not necessarily indicated above which arise within operations will accordingly be included in this position, in addition to special assignments from Management

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and two years' experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Familiarity with deburring tools and demonstrated experience using them.

Work cross functionally with all departments within the facility. Must be professional, possess excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to handle sensitive, confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy. Work requires continuous attention to detail. Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and portray demonstrated abilities to manage multiple competing tasks and demands. Experience reading and interpreting prints.
