Be part of something bigger with Chromalloy! This is an hourly position with Local 475. Rate of pay is $28.64/hr with a 10% premium for 2nd shift.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1-2 years of previous experience operating low pressure, robotic and manual air spray systems and supporting equipment, and determining powder to use for a component. Previous experience using various measuring tools to critical dimensions Previous experience producing components within guidelines of latest revision of procedures. Must be able to read pressure gauges and flow meters. Previous experience performing routine maintenance of Plasma equipment (including but not limited to powder specification changes, nozzle/electrode and powder feed line changes). Must be able to wear respirator.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
HS Diploma or equivalent required. Autobody and Mechanical background preferred Ability to use hand tools and gauges. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment using work instructions is preferred. Must be fluent in English, (speaking, reading, writing)
MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum lift floor to waist
  • 25 pounds Minimum lift waist to shoulder level
  • 25 pounds Minimum pull
  • 40 pounds
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moderate cold and moderate heat, loud noise, fumes, and moving equipment in a typical manufacturing environment.
