We are seeking a reliable and versatile deburring Technician who is responsible for removing burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections from machined parts to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. This role requires attention to detail, steady hand skills, and the ability to work with various hand tools and finishing equipment. Key Responsibilities Remove burrs using hand tools such as files, scrapers, sandpaper, and deburring knives Operate power tools and equipment such as grinders, belt sanders, and polishing tools Smooth and finish surfaces according to specifications and blueprints Ensure parts meet quality standards and tolerances Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) Report defects or inconsistencies to supervisors Learn to electro etch and laser etch parts Assemble deburred components in to assemblies Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in manufacturing, machining, or metal finishing is a plus Ability to read basic blueprints or work instructions Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity Ability to use hand and power tools safely Good hand-eye coordination Ability to stand for extended periods, sit for extended periods and lift moderate weight Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Effective communication skills across multiple departments Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
Pay:
$24.33 - $29.30 per hour
