The Successful Applicant must possess a minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience successfully completing tasks related to ID / OD, and surface grinding, utilizing conventional and CNC machinery. Must also be able to learn to run other equipment as needed. Key Responsibilities Setting up, operating, and adjusting grinding machinery to produce various components with close tolerance / finish requirements. Inspecting the components being processed. Ability to set-up precision inspection equipment, including taper and bore gages. Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings including GD&T. Ability to assist in other Machining Department areas as needed. Applicant may be needed to work overtime to ensure customer project timing Comply with the company safety procedures Ensure internal standards are maintained Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent required Previous hands-on experience, grinding precision parts to print with attention to finish requirements. Ability to read basic blueprints or work instructions Ability to use hand tools Good hand-eye coordination Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Effective communication skills across multiple departments Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks

$24.20 - $29.14 per hour
