Job Description

Turner
  • Machine Operator We are a leading manufacturing company in Akron seeking an experienced Turner
  • Machine Operator to join our team.
As a Turner, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various machines to fabricate metal parts according to specifications. This position requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and experience in working with metal materials.
Responsibilities:
  • Set up machines by installing and adjusting tools and attachments
  • Read blueprints and specifications to determine machining operations
  • Operate various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill presses
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality production and make adjustments as needed
  • Inspect finished products for quality control
  • Maintain machinery by performing routine maintenance tasks
  • Troubleshoot issues with machinery and make necessary repairs
  • Follow all safety procedures and regulations
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Turner or Machine Operator in a manufacturing setting
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification is a plus
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of different types of metals and their properties
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this full-time position. In addition, we provide health insurance benefits, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth within our company.
Location:
This position is located in Akron, Ohio. Our facility is easily accessible by public transportation.
Visa Sponsorship:
We are open to sponsoring work visas for qualified candidates who meet our requirements.
Contract Job:
This is a contract position with the possibility of becoming permanent based on performance.
