JOB DESCRIPTION A

manufacturing company has an opportunity available for a Plasma Table Operator. Hours are first shift from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Job Duties:

Operate CNC plasma cutting table to cut steel, stainless steel, and aluminum according to specifications Lift and handle materials weighing up to 75 pounds regularly Follow job packet instructions precisely, including material type, thickness, and sheet count Ensure accuracy and quality of cuts and maintain high standards of workmanship Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the plasma cutting equipment Assist with material handling and organization as needed Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Job Qualifications:

Must be proficient in operating CNC plasma cutting equipment Knowledge of material types and their properties is needed Must have the ability to read and interpret job packets and blueprints Must have a mechanical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills Must be familiar using basic shop tools Forklift experience is a plus Must have effective communication and teamwork skills Must be physically able to lift and handle materials up to 75 pounds on a regular basis Must have a commitment to safety and quality standards while adhering to all safety protocols and company guidelines Must pass a basic shop math/print test Only candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
