At Norwood Medical, we build components for surgical tools and instruments used in life-saving medical procedures around the world. Were looking for a skilled Tool Maker / CNC Machinist to support our precision coining process for critical medical device components. This is a hands-on role where craftsmanship, quality, and accountability matter every day. What Youll Do Set up and run surface grinders for coin punches and precision componentsHold tight tolerances that meet Norwood Medical quality standardsSet up vertical CNC mills, i.e. Brothers/Robodrill, (tool changes, touch-offs, setups)Understand and support the honing process and precision die work used in coining operations, including maintaining surface finish, geometry, and tool integrity for repeatable resultsPerform your own in-process and final inspectionsyou own your qualityPolish parts and tooling to meet cosmetic and functional requirementsRead prints, make adjustments, and troubleshoot to keep parts in specWork with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to continuously improve our processesFollow Norwoods Lean and 5S standards to keep a clean, organized workspace
