Job Description

SUMMARY Bends stainless metal tubing, according to specifications, for use in compressor packages by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Plans tubing job by laying out stainless metal tubing to fit connections on a compressor package. Cuts tubing to required length using a hand tool. Beads, burrs, and flares tubing. De-burrs inside diameter after cutting. Bends tubing by hand using bending tools to conform to required routing on compressor package. Connects tubing to compressor packages using appropriate fittings, and secures tubing, as required. Checks tubing connections. Air tests all tubing runs.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
