Job Description
Forward Carbide (Dyer Industries, Inc.) is hiring full time positions for the following areas: Machinist, CAD/CAM & Uni-Graphics Programmer, Tool & Die Maker, Polisher Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Set-up and operate Ram EDM, Wire EDM, Surface Grinders, Jig Grinder, Cylindrical Grinder, parts that hold to the high quality machine standards required within the organization.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations and setup requirements.
- Must be able to select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as Mills, Lathes, Jig borers, and Grinders
Programmers:
Must possess a working knowledge ofNX10, GIBBS CAM
& PEPS or similar programsPolishers:
Should possess patience & a steady hand as well as good hand/eye coordination Basic Qualifications- High School Diploma or equivalent. 5+ years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- This will be a full time steady day light position, after probation period there is an opportunity for plenty of overtime. Desired Qualifications
- Must have working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD & T) or willing to learn!!!
