Imagine a power washer so strong it doesn't just clean—it slices through 4 inches of solid steel. As the operator, your job is to "tame" that power to make sure the parts come out exactly like the blueprints.

Responsibilities:

Operate waterjet machine Operating controls to tell machine where to move and how fast to cut Place large sheets of raw metal onto machine and remove the sheets when they are cut Smooth the rough edges on the metal Setting offsets to make sure the cut is where it needs to be Reviews blueprints to understand the size and shape of the part you are making Meet quota or production rates Quality control for malfunctions and reports any issues to management

Education:

High School High School Diploma or GED Physical:

Safely move and handle large, heavy metal sheet, plate and parts,Lift 50 lbs at times

Related Experience:

Waterjet experience is a plus, CAD programming to draw/adjust shapes the machine will cut, Forklift, Basic math skills- adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry and algebra, Blueprint reading understanding, Knowledge of using calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gages, indicators and scales, Attention to detail ...
