Machine Operator-Die Cutter 1st/2nd shift Pittston, PA 18640 Full-time Full-time Die Cutting Machine Operator operates die cutting equipment and manages the die cutting process to keep production flowing efficiently.

Job Duties:

Position duties include setting up and operating a die cutting machine for a production run. Responsibility of overall operation of the die cutter, including but not limited, maintenance to ensure the machine efficiency and meet customer deadlines. Responsibility for output, quantity and quality of the product being produced by the die cutter. Conduct and manage efficient set ups. Load printed material. Familiar with the technology/software operation of die cutter machinery. Take the lead in solving problems & work with support staff in providing solutions. Make suggestions to improve efficiencies and ensure die cutter runs at optimum speeds. Monitor quality of finished pieces and report defects to supervisor and work on a solution. Ensure finished materials are being staged properly to ensure that the next job transitions as seamlessly as possible. Scan semi-produced products to start jobs and create a label through the system to mark skids of finished products. Communicate deviations from job specifications to management. Must follow standards for food quality such as wearing hair nets, using hand sanitizer to ensure printed product stays contamination free Cardbox Packaging is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
