Job Description

WGI MRO Services , a division of WGI Inc., is an FAA-certified commercial and military aircraft engine component repair station. We are currently seeking experienced ID/OD Grinders to join our team supporting high-precision aerospace component repair. Position Overview This role is responsible for the setup and operation of ID/OD grinding equipment to restore critical aircraft engine components. Work involves tight tolerances, precision finishes, and adherence to FAA and OEM specifications. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate ID/OD grinding machines including: Cincinnati Heald Horizontal GrindersLandis Horizontal GrindersSpringfield Vertical GrindersOkamoto
NC ID/OD
GrindersKellenberger ID/OD Grinders Grind components to tight tolerances (up to ±.0001) and required surface finishes Read and interpret blueprints, process sheets, and specifications Perform in-process measurements and adjustments to ensure compliance Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and safe condition Support team workflow and communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers Assist in training and mentoring less experienced operators as needed Qualifications Minimum 2 + year experience setting up and operating ID/OD grinding machines Experience in aerospace or other high-precision manufacturing preferred Strong understanding of tolerances, finishes, and inspection methods Ability to use precision measuring instruments Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Reliable, team-oriented, and safety-focused What We Offer Competitive pay (based on experience) 15% shift differential for 2nd shift Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Generous paid time off Weekly pay Overtime opportunities Additional Information Immediate openings On-site position (not remote) Military experience encouraged to apply
