Maintenance Manager Job Responsibilities:
Maintain equipment and dies for timely, safe, and efficient start-ups of production lines. Comply and ensure all employees follow safety and company policies and procedures. Maintain the quality of the tooling equipment to ensure that it stays in good working condition at all times. Oversee all changeovers done in production to ensure quality work. Keep department free of safety hazards and any discrimination. Organize daily department meetings to inform department staff of daily changes in production. Attend weekly managers' meetings. Communicate to other managers of any new tooling. Obtain quotes for tooling in order to minimize costs and ensure a quality product. Verify accuracy of inventory levels on all tooling. This includes heater bands, sleeves, and tank seals. Ensure the quality of the chrome on tooling at all times. Possess basic machining skills to ensure a quality tooling modification with in-house repair. Draft modifications as needed on existing tooling. Programs and maintains all printers. Provide quality work on all changeovers to prevent leaks and ensure a smooth startup, and verify the die are properly wired and operate in a safe manner. Perform all other tasks as assigned by the Facility Plant Manager.
