In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining grinding equipment to produce high-precision components that meet strict quality standards. Your expertise will ensure smooth production flow, adherence to safety protocols, and the delivery of top-quality finished products. Duties Set up and operate various grinding machines, including CNC grinders, to achieve precise dimensions and surface finishes on metal parts. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to ensure accurate machining. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other warehouse equipment, ensuring proper materials handling and storage. Document production activities accurately in logs, including machine settings, inspection results, and any deviations from specifications. Skills Experience with factory environments involving machining, materials handling, packaging, and quality control procedures. Basic math skills necessary for measuring dimensions accurately and calculating machine offsets or adjustments. Solid understanding of safety protocols related to machining operations, forklift operation, and factory safety standards. Ready to bring your machining expertise to a vibrant team?
