2nd Shift | 2:30 PM - 11:15 PM Position Summary PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a leading provider of nuts, bolts, and fasteners and is now hiring a Chamfering Operator. This position is ideal for candidates who are dependable, versatile, and team-oriented. The Chamfering Operator is responsible for setting up and operating chamfering machines to deburr and finish material edges while meeting quality, safety, and production standards. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor chamfering machines according to specifications Remove sharp edges, burrs, and excess material from parts Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers Adjust machine settings to maintain proper chamfer angles and surface finish Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and production schedules Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Perform basic machine maintenance and report equipment issues to supervision Meet production goals while maintaining quality standards Follow all company safety policies and procedures Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent preferred Manufacturing or machining experience preferred; chamfering experience a plus Ability to read and follow work instructions and blueprints Experience using basic measuring tools Spanish-speaking ability required (bilingual Spanish/English preferred) Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work well in a team environment Work Environment Manufacturing/production setting Standing for extended periods May require lifting and handling of materials
