Central & East Texas with periodic travel statewide Starting Pay (DOE):$24-$28/hour + overtime (2-3 years Barko seat time minimum) Travel Per Diem for travel assignments (paid on days worked) Company Description Lone Star Land Enhancement, Inc. has served Texas since 2004 with professional forestry mulching and land clearing. We operate a fleet built for real production, maintain high standards, and focus on safe, clean results that match the scope. We are hiring an experienced operator who brings consistency, equipment care, and finish quality with minimal training required. Position Overview This role is for an operator with 2-5 years of Barko forestry mulcher experience and a valid Class A CDL . You will operate a Barko mulcher and support hauling/logistics as needed, while delivering professional results across a mix of residential, ranch, and larger assignments.
Work mix:
Travel projects may occur across Texas as scheduled (per diem applies). Between travel assignments, work runs from our Lindale/Tyler home base across Central and East Texas. Duties Operate a Barko forestry mulcher safely and efficiently on varied terrain and vegetation Deliver a professional finish: clean lines, controlled cut, consistent results Follow scope notes and boundaries Complete daily pre-op inspection and routine machine care Identify hazards and operate with sound judgement Provide daily updates: progress, conditions, and maintenance needs Support transport coordination and CDL-related responsibilities as assigned Qualifications Valid Class A CDL (required) 2-5 years of Barko forestry mulcher seat time Safety-first work habits and consistent finish quality Ability to work independently and stay productive without close supervision Detail-oriented with strong mechanical awareness and equipment care routines Willingness to travel throughout Texas when scheduled A commitment to maintaining safety and adhering to company policies is essential.
