Full Job Description Position Overview:

C&J Contracting LLC is seeking a motivated and reliable GPS Technician to join our team. This role supports construction layout and machine control operations while assisting with general fieldwork. No prior GPS or machine control experience is required—we will train the right candidate. Concrete company specializing in

Curb, Sidewalks, ADA's Key Responsibilities:

• Set up base station and rover for GPS curb machine
• Assist with GPS machine control operations (training provided)
• Work with CAD and/or 3D draw models for curb machine operations
• Operate chute for curb machine
• Support concrete finishers with physical labor during downtime
• Create, manage, and maintain construction layout and survey data
• Coordinate plan design data with field operations to maintain productivity

Qualifications:

• Ability to read civil, architectural, and structural plans (experience not required—will train)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a large team
• Willingness and ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Punctual, dependable, and self-motivated
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (fluent) preferred
