About The Role As an
LC-MS/MS
Operator you will be perform batch injections, monitor instrument performance throughout the injection, and communicate any issues to management. The
LC-MS/MS
Operator will work with scientists and analysts to insure extracted samples are run and injected efficiently on
LC-MS/MS
instrumentation to meet client deadlines. The operator will be responsible for the generation of high-quality data and following all SOPs and plans. This role will onboard during the day shift and then move to second shift after onboarding. What You'll Do Here Communicate with scientists and analysts daily to prioritize instrumentation usage. Perform preliminary
LC-MS/MS
system tests. Start batches of various types of projects and for all LC-MS laboratory team members. Follow the batches performance to promptly identify possible problems (e.g.: retention time shifting, sensitivity drops, instrument communication problems). Monitor instrument performance throughout the injection to perform troubleshooting, system interruption, and batch reinjection procedures and intervenes when necessary. Complete supplementary information forms as needed. Perform specific instrument optimization on mass spectrometers. Assist pre-study meetings. Responsible for appropriate column care (e.g.: maintenance, rinsing, replacement). Create and maintain the daily injection schedule establishing project priorities with the team managers as needed. Conduct all work in compliance with applicable SOPs, GLPs, and observe all company guidelines and policies. RespectHealth and Safety standards in terms or personal protection, laboratory maintenance, and work procedures May perform extractions as needed. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Immunology/Biology/Chemistry or other scientific related discipline Preferred Requirements 1 to 3 years of laboratory experience Experience in a Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and CRO environment Experience with LC-MS instrumentation and software Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize work, and meet deadlines. Experience with Shimadzu and SCIEX instrumentation Experience with Watson What We Offer The pay range estimated for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 per hour. Please note that hourly rates/salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, prior relevant experience, skills, education, certification, location as well as internal equity and market data.
