About the Role As a Kinetics Operator, you will set up and operate a plate processing machine (Kinetic or similar) to cut and machine steel plate for heavy equipment components. You'll manage and run programs, inspect parts for accuracy, and maintain machine performance. You will also support fellow team members, follow production schedules, and contribute to a safe and efficient work environment. What You'll Do Set up and operate CNC burn table equipment (Kinetic or similar) Cut and process steel components for heavy machinery manufacturing Determine operation sequence and adjust machine settings for efficient production Verify finished parts meet print specifications and quality standards Use measuring tools including calipers and tape measures Follow production schedules and daily burn requirements Safely use cranes, rigging equipment, oxy-fuel torches, and shop tools Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements What You Bring High School Diploma or GED required Machining program degree, vocational training experience preferred OR 2+ years of CNC operation or related manufacturing experience preferred Intermediate print reading and math skills Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures Understanding of CNC operations and metal fabrication processes Experience with oxy-fuel or plasma cutting equipment preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Strong attention to detail and safety Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks throughout the shift Frequent lifting, measuring, and handling of heavy parts and plate materials Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Exposure to shop conditions including noise, heat, and dust Comfortable working with large, heavy components in an industrial setting What You Get Competitive hourly pay based on experience Full-time, stable work schedule Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid holidays and paid time off Opportunities for internal growth and technical development A team-oriented culture with long-term stability
