In this energetic role, you will be on the front lines of disaster response, performing essential cleanup, restoration, and remediation tasks to help clients recover quickly and confidently. Your hands-on work will directly impact the safety and comfort of our customers' homes and businesses, making a meaningful difference every day. Responsibilities Perform water damage restoration tasks including extraction, drying, and dehumidification to prevent further property deterioration. Conduct fire restoration activities such as debris removal, soot cleanup, and odor control to restore properties to their pre-loss condition. Execute mold remediation procedures by identifying mold growth, setting up containment areas, and removing mold safely using appropriate techniques. Utilize hand tools and power tools for demolition, cleaning, and construction-related tasks required during the restoration process. Carry out cleaning operations including carpet cleaning, surface cleaning, and debris removal to prepare spaces for reconstruction or occupancy. Assist with asbestos abatement procedures following safety protocols to ensure environmental health standards are met. Collaborate with team members to ensure all mitigation activities are completed efficiently while maintaining high safety standards. Requirements Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning is highly preferred. Knowledge of water damage restoration, fire damage cleanup, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement techniques. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in various work environments. Strong physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols and quality workmanship. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is often required for travel between job sites.
