Hazardous Waste Technician ($23/hr Long Beach) Overview Seeking a certified 40-hour

Technician to safely manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. This role supports waste handling, documentation, inspections, and emergency response. After three weeks of first-shift training, the regular schedule is 8:00 PM-4:30 AM . Key Responsibilities Collect, segregate, label, and consolidate waste streams Maintain accurate waste documentation (manifests, logs, profiles) Follow OSHA, EPA, DOT, and company safety standards Assist with spill response and inspections Operate forklifts, drum dollies, and material handling equipment Use PPE and report safety concerns promptly Requirements Valid 40-hour

certification Hazardous waste handling experience Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying conditions Strong attention to detail and safety compliance Forklift/equipment operation experience Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Long Beach, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
