In this energetic position, you will be responsible for executing asbestos abatement projects with precision, adhering to strict safety standards, and supporting restoration efforts across various construction and environmental cleanup sites. Your work will directly contribute to protecting public health while maintaining compliance with industry regulations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop specialized skills in asbestos abatement, mold remediation, and construction-related restoration projects. Duties Perform asbestos removal and containment procedures in accordance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards and company protocols. Prepare work sites by setting up containment barriers, decontamination units, and safety signage to prevent contamination spread. Conduct thorough inspections of work areas to identify asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) and assess the scope of abatement needed. Utilize specialized equipment such as HEPA vacuums, negative air machines, and personal protective gear to safely execute removal tasks. Assist in mold remediation and general restoration activities by cleaning, sealing, and restoring affected surfaces post-abatement. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, safety checks, waste disposal logs, and compliance reports for regulatory review. Collaborate with project managers, safety officers, and clients to ensure timely project completion while upholding the highest safety standards. Experience 3 Years Minimum Prior experience in asbestos abatement or related environmental remediation fields is highly preferred. Knowledge of OSHA regulations specific to asbestos handling and construction safety practices is essential. Experience with mold remediation, restoration projects, or general construction work is a plus. Ability to operate industry-standard equipment safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for documentation and compliance reporting. Certification in asbestos abatement or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates willing to learn.
