- Position Overview
- We are seeking a motivated Environmental Technician to support emergency response teams, fixed facility operations, and site remediation projects across the Denver Metro area. This role involves hands-on work in hazardous environments and requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork.
- Key Responsibilities
- + Respond promptly to emergency environmental incidents, including spills and hazardous material releases + Perform hazardous waste cleanup and site decontamination activities + Decontaminate equipment, structures, and affected areas to remove hazardous or toxic substances + Prepare, package, and handle hazardous waste for transportation, processing, or disposal + Assist with environmental remediation projects at industrial and commercial sites + Support emergency HazMat operations under supervision using specialized equipment + Complete and maintain accurate Daily Job Reports documenting work performed and materials/equipment used + Perform related duties such as lead paint removal and fire watch support at industrial/chemical facilities •Qualifications•+ High school diploma or equivalent required + Current
HAZWOPER
certification required + Ability to pass a hazardous materials physical + Must be clean shaven to safely wear respiratory protection + Reliable transportation required + Ability to work in physically demanding environments and follow strict safety protocols
- Required Equipment
- + Must provide own steel-toed boots + Hard hat, safety vest, safety glasses, and respirator will be provided
- Work Environment
- + Work may occur in industrial sites, chemical plants, and emergency response locations + Exposure to hazardous materials in controlled environments + Work is performed under supervision with strict adherence to safety standards

- This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arvada, CO.
- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
