00 per hour Position Overview Hudspeth Inc. is seeking experienced and safety-focused Abatement Workers / Supervisors to support environmental remediation and abatement operations on industrial and heavy civil construction projects throughout Colorado. This position is responsible for performing and overseeing abatement activities in accordance with company procedures, regulatory requirements, and project specifications while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and production. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on abatement experience, leadership capability, and the ability to coordinate field operations while working alongside crews in active construction and industrial environments. Essential DutiesResponsibilities Perform and supervise asbestos, lead, mold, and other environmental abatement activities Ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA, EPA, state, local, and company safety requirements Coordinate daily field activities, crew assignments, and production schedules Conduct site inspections and maintain containment areas and regulated work zones Properly utilize PPE, respirators, and specialized abatement equipment Complete required documentation including daily reports, safety documentation, and project tracking Communicate effectively with project management, safety personnel, subcontractors, and field crews Monitor work quality and ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently Assist with setup, teardown, waste handling, and material disposal procedures Maintain a clean and organized work environment Qualifications Previous abatement and environmental remediation experience required Supervisory or crew leadership experience preferred Current asbestos and/or lead certifications preferred Ability to wear respiratory protection and PPE for extended periods Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and environmental regulations Ability to work in industrial, commercial, and outdoor construction environments Strong communication and organizational skills Reliable transportation and ability to travel to project sites as needed Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and work in confined or elevated areas Ability to work in varying weather and job site conditions Benefits Hudspeth Inc. offers a competitive compensation package, opportunities for advancement, and a strong commitment to employee safety and development.
