Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Water Technician to join our dynamic restoration team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for assessing, mitigating, and restoring properties affected by water damage, fire, mold, and other environmental issues. Your expertise will help clients recover quickly and safely from unexpected disasters. This position offers an energetic environment where your hands-on skills will make a meaningful impact. You will work closely with a team dedicated to delivering exceptional service and ensuring safety standards are met at all times. Duties Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification processes using specialized equipment to restore affected areas efficiently. Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify water damage, mold growth, asbestos presence, or other hazards requiring remediation. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and construction techniques to remove damaged materials and prepare sites for restoration work. Execute cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning, mold remediation, fire restoration, and general sanitation to ensure spaces are safe and habitable. Document all work performed accurately in reports, including before-and-after photos and detailed descriptions of repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety regulations throughout all restoration activities. Qualifications Experience is preferred but not required Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques, mold remediation, fire damage repair, and asbestos abatement is preferred, not required. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively. Strong understanding of cleaning procedures including carpet cleaning and general sanitation practices. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying solutions during restoration projects. Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various environments, including lifting heavy materials and working in confined spaces. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required; willingness to travel locally as needed.
