Our strategically located service centers are staffed with a diverse team of response professionals ready to mobilize at a moment's notice to address urgent environmental and property restoration needs. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hazardous Cleanup Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety. As a Hazardous Cleanup Technician, you will be responsible for performing cleanup operations involving hazardous materials, water and fire damage restoration, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement. This role requires physical stamina, technical proficiency with hand and power tools, and adherence to safety protocols to ensure effective and compliant service delivery. Responsibilities Perform cleaning and remediation tasks related to fire, water, mold, asbestos, and other hazardous materials in various environments. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during restoration projects. Conduct asbestos abatement procedures following strict safety guidelines and industry standards. Assist in water damage restoration efforts by extracting water, drying affected areas, and preventing mold growth. Support fire restoration projects through debris removal, surface cleaning, and structural assessments. Follow detailed safety procedures to protect yourself, team members, and clients from exposure to hazardous substances. Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used during each project. Experience Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning is highly preferred. Knowledge of mold remediation techniques and asbestos abatement processes is advantageous. Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment used in environmental cleanup is required. Experience with carpet cleaning or general cleaning procedures is beneficial but not mandatory. Ability to work effectively in physically demanding environments while maintaining attention to detail.
