Job Description
Job Summary Emergency Environmental Services is seeking a motivated and dependable Field Technician to support environmental field operations and emergency response activities. This position involves hands-on field work, equipment operation, waste handling, site cleanup, and emergency response services in a fast-paced and safety-focused environment. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, physically capable, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform environmental field operations as directed by supervisors. Respond to emergency response incidents and hazardous material situations when on call. Operate trucks, tools, equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently. Prepare waste materials for shipment and disposal, including manifests and shipping documentation. Maintain safe and secure worksites while following all company safety protocols and procedures. Restock, clean, and maintain equipment and response vehicles after use. Perform housekeeping, custodial duties, and basic vehicle maintenance. Assist with special projects and additional operational duties as assigned. Maintain professionalism and contribute positively to team morale. Drive company vehicles as authorized and required. Respond to all types of emergency response incidents 24 Hours a Day/ 7 Days a Week as required when on call. Qualifications Must be able to Pass Drug & Alcohol pre hire. Current 40-Hour
HAZWOPER
certification or ability to obtain certification Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record preferred. Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or move up to 50 pounds unassisted. Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to bend, crouch, stoop, twist, and maintain full range of motion. Ability to reach above head level as needed. Ability to work in physically demanding environments and varying weather conditions. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and commitment to safety. Work Environment This position requires working in industrial, commercial, and outdoor environments that may involve exposure to hazardous materials, emergency situations, and physically demanding conditions. Technicians must be available for emergency response assignments on a rotating on-call basis, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Pay:
