Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Asbestos Worker, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring safe and effective asbestos abatement and removal. This energetic position involves working on construction, restoration, and mold remediation projects, helping to create healthier environments for clients. You will be responsible for executing asbestos abatement procedures with precision, adhering to safety standards, and supporting various remediation efforts. Your expertise will directly contribute to maintaining compliance with OSHA regulations and promoting safe work practices across diverse project sites. Duties Perform asbestos abatement activities in accordance with OSHA standards and project specifications Set up containment areas, including barriers and negative air pressure systems, to prevent fiber spread Remove, handle, and dispose of asbestos-containing materials safely using proper protective equipment Assist in mold remediation and restoration projects by identifying affected areas and executing appropriate removal techniques Conduct thorough inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations Maintain detailed documentation of abatement procedures, waste disposal logs, and safety checks Collaborate with project managers and safety teams to coordinate work schedules and ensure adherence to all safety guidelines Experience Proven experience working in asbestos abatement or related construction roles involving hazardous materials Knowledge of OSHA regulations specific to asbestos handling and removal processes Familiarity with asbestos removal tools, containment setups, and disposal procedures Experience supporting restoration or mold remediation projects is a plus Strong understanding of safety protocols related to hazardous materials handling Ability to read technical plans and follow detailed instructions accurately Certification or training in asbestos abatement is highly preferred; ongoing OSHA training is a plus Join us in making a difference by creating safer environments through expert asbestos removal!
