Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Mitigation Technician and become a vital part of restoring properties affected by water, fire, mold, and other damages. In this energetic role, you will be on the front lines of disaster response, performing essential cleanup and restoration tasks that help clients recover quickly and confidently. Your hands-on expertise will ensure that affected environments are safely and efficiently returned to their original condition, making a real difference in people's lives every day. Duties Perform water damage restoration by extracting moisture, drying structures, and monitoring progress using specialized equipment. Conduct fire damage cleanup including debris removal, soot and smoke odor mitigation, and surface cleaning. Execute mold remediation procedures to identify mold growth, contain affected areas, and safely remove mold colonies. Utilize hand tools and power tools for demolition, cleaning, and construction tasks necessary for restoration projects. Carry out asbestos abatement procedures following safety protocols to eliminate hazardous materials from affected sites. Clean carpets, upholstery, and surfaces using industry-standard techniques to restore cleanliness and hygiene. Assist with construction activities such as minor repairs or rebuilds to restore properties to their pre-damage state. Qualifications Prior experience in the restoration industry or related fields such as construction or cleaning is highly preferred. Knowledge of water damage restoration, fire cleanup, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement processes. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in various environments. Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to safety protocols and quality standards. Excellent physical stamina for lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces. Pay:
$24.28 - $29.24 per hour
