The Supervisor ensures work is completed safely, efficiently, in compliance with Washington State regulations, project specifications, and company standards. This position supervises field crews, coordinates with customers and project management, maintains regulatory compliance, and ensures successful project completion. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Project Supervision Direct and supervise daily abatement operations on assigned projects. Plan and coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials. Monitor production goals and project schedules. Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Conduct daily jobsite inspections and quality control reviews. Safety and Compliance Enforce all company safety policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with:
Washington State Department of Labor & Industries (L&I) regulations. OSHA standards. EPA regulations. AHERA requirements where applicable. Conduct daily safety meetings and toolbox talks. Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain containment integrity and work area security. Immediately address unsafe conditions and behaviors. Crew Management Supervise and lead abatement technicians and laborers. Assign daily work tasks and responsibilities. Train and mentor employees on proper abatement procedures. Monitor employee performance and productivity. Maintain crew accountability and attendance records. Project Documentation Complete daily reports documenting: Manpower. Work completed. Safety observations. Equipment usage. Project progress. Maintain project logs and documentation. Ensure all required regulatory records are completed accurately. Document project delays, changed conditions, and additional work requests. Equipment and Material Management Coordinate material deliveries and inventory. Ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment. Conduct equipment inspections and report deficiencies. Verify proper handling, packaging, transportation, and disposal of regulated waste. Customer and Client Relations Serve as the primary field contact for customers and project stakeholders. Coordinate with project managers, consultants, inspectors, and general contractors. Address field issues promptly and professionally. Maintain positive customer relationships throughout project execution. Quality Control Verify work is completed according to project specifications and regulatory requirements. Conduct final inspections before clearance testing. Ensure containment areas are maintained throughout project duration. Monitor work practices to ensure quality standards are met. Qualifications Required Washington State Certified Asbestos Supervisor certification (if supervising asbestos projects). Valid Washington State driver's license. Minimum 3 years of abatement experience. Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience. Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and Washington State regulations. Ability to read project specifications and drawings. Strong leadership and communication skills. Preferred Lead Supervisor certification. Mold remediation experience. First Aid/CPR certification.
HAZWOPER
certification. Experience managing multiple crews and projects. Physical Requirements Ability to wear respiratory protection and PPE. Ability to work in confined spaces and elevated work areas. Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and kneel for extended periods. Ability to work in varying weather and environmental conditions.
Pay:
$26.00 - $35.00 per hour
