• Full-time Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heat Treat Furnace Operator, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the quality and precision of heat-treated metal components.

You'll be responsible for operating and monitoring industrial furnaces, ensuring optimal heat treatment processes, and maintaining safety standards throughout your shift. Duties Operate and control industrial heat treat furnaces to achieve specified temperature profiles for various metal components Monitor furnace parameters using digital controls and make adjustments to ensure consistent quality Conduct routine inspections of furnace equipment, including thermocouples, sensors, and safety devices Maintain accurate records of heat treatment cycles, temperatures, and times for quality documentation Assist with loading and unloading parts using forklifts or cranes while adhering to safety protocols Must be drug free and pass DOT regulated drug and alcohol screening Experience Prior experience operating industrial furnaces or in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required; NADCAP experience a plus Familiarity with blueprint reading (GD&T), sheet metal fabrication, tooling, and quality inspection techniques Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, hardness testers and calipers accurately Strong attention to detail with basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and process adjustments Knowledge of safety procedures related to crane operation, hand tools usage, and manufacturing best practices This role offers an engaging environment where your skills directly impact product quality.
