You will be responsible for ensuring the structural integrity and leak-free performance of complex assemblies, directly impacting the quality and reliability of our finished products. Responsibilities Assemble intricate coil components including tubes, headers, and fittings based on technical blueprints and production specifications. Execute precise brazing operations using oxy-acetylene or induction torches to create durable, high-quality metal joints. Manage heat application, filler material flow, and oxidation levels to ensure consistent, defect-free results. Perform rigorous visual and pressure-based leak testing to verify the integrity of every completed assembly. Maintain and calibrate brazing equipment, including torch tips, gas regulators, and nozzle cleanliness to ensure optimal performance. Document production metrics and quality assurance data within our tracking systems to maintain process transparency. Collaborate with the production team to uphold safety standards regarding pressurized gases and high-temperature work environments. Qualifications Required Skills Proven proficiency in oxy-acetylene torch operation and flame control. Strong ability to interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and assembly diagrams. Exceptional hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for working with precision components. Experience using measurement tools such as calipers, gauges, and pressure meters. Commitment to maintaining high safety standards in a manufacturing environment. Preferred Skills High school diploma or GED equivalent. Previous experience in metal fabrication, HVAC assembly, or industrial soldering. Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
