Job Description
Geiger Automotive was founded in 1960 and has been a part of the Sanoh Europe GmbH company since 2013. Over 900 employees work at our six sites, which have special competences in the research, development and production of plastic system solutions. It is our ambition to be "best in class". We use our knowledge and innovation capability to develop intelligent solutions for a mobile, sustainable future. Alongside this goal our company also places absolute priority on modern environmental management. As part of Geiger Automotive's global expansion, a branch with a total area of 13,500 square meters was opened in Suwanee, Georgia, northeast of Atlanta, in 2014. Centrally located to the factories of our largest customers, BMW, Daimler, and Volkswagen, injection-molded products are manufactured here. We are currently hiring Mold Setters for our Suwanee, GA location. Our Mold Setters are responsible for:
- Quality, target date and output at the assigned work station and usage of resources at least-cost
- Compliance of the processes defined in IMH and
- Cleanliness, orderliness, industrial safety and environmentalism
- Compliance of all the legal regulations within the area of responsibility Job description:
- Operate injection molding machines
- Shutdown of equipment
- Maintain material and component supplies to machines
- Assembly of pre and post-molding components per specifications
- Load and unload hot-plate welding machines; inspect for obvious welding defects in product
- Documentation of production paperwork and process adjustments
- Troubleshooting of process and accessory equipment
- Daily and weekly cleaning of machines
- Dispose of scrap into proper containers
- Inspects assigned work area to ensure safe and quality conditions
- Adheres to the tenets of all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO, and safety standards
- Other related duties as assigned Skills required:
- Basic Knowledge of Computers, workshop tools
- Self-motivation, self-dependence
- Willing to work different shifts
