In this position you will be performing hardness testing and support metallurgical lab processes.
Shift:
Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pmPay:
$17/Hour based on skills, experience & work ethic Responsibilities- Perform manual hardness testing using lab equipment
- Prepare and inspect samples for accurate readings
- Document measurements and maintain clean work areas
- Learn micro‑hardness testing, polishing, and saw operation over time
- Handle cold-mount chemicals safely (non‑burning and low‑risk) Requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Solid work ethic and reliability
- Comfortable working with tools and measurements
- Willing to learn hands‑on lab processes Experience in any of the following is a plus
- Hardness testing
- Microstructure or case depth analysis
- Lab saw operation
- Sample mounting or polishing No degree is required and we are willing to train the right candidate for this role.
