Station or Machines:

Small flamematic Large flamematic Furnaces Shot blast Hydraulic press Hardness tester Crane Pallet lifter Center lap Job Duties/Responsibilities Handling First piece inspection Signoff sheets Reporting non-conforming material Reporting maintenance problems Reviewing blueprint revisions Heat treating per engineering specifications Shot blast Straightening Hardness testing Lap centers Preferred Qualifications High school graduate Two (2) years vocational school One (1) year previous paint experience

Minimum Physical Qualifications:

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Must be able to load/unload parts with a hoist Must be able to move parts using pallet lifter Minimum Qualifications One (1) year experience in heat treat area or high school graduate and six (6) months experience in heat treat Familiar with safety rules and procedures Department procedures Setup and operation of equipment Must be able to read and write in English Operators are "certified" by a 60-day training period with a "certified" operator
