Our experienced professionals provide a caring service focused on individual attention and personalized recommendations, and our passion is using our expertise to keep people healthy on their feet. We have an opening for a Certified Pedorthist at the Peoria/Phoenix, AZ location. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Pedorthist who is passionate about helping patients and others. Candidates should have excellent retail/wellness work history and/or experience in the shoe industry. If you have an outgoing personality and love helping people, apply today! And to support store operations including store maintenance and appearance, inventory management, and store opening & closing. Position Details Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service to meet sales and customer satisfaction goals Assist in store operations per company policies Maintain store appearance to attract customers Assist in organizing, receiving, and transferring merchandise Inventory Maintenance Opening and Closing Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, gait analysis, and biomechanical evaluations Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including the fabrication, fitting, and modification of orthotic devices and footwear Educate patients on proper foot care, hygiene, and the use of prescribed devices Complete appropriate filing with Medicare and insurance abiding by HIPPA regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, podiatrists, and physical therapists, to ensure optimal patient care Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Stay current with the latest advancements in pedorthics through continuing education and professional development
Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills to properly relate to customers, staff, and supervisors Strong sales and customer service skills Good problem resolution experience Effective computer and POS register abilities Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours) Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift to 50 pounds Must be able to use a ladder to access inventory Must have the stamina to work up to 40 hours per week Flexible schedule to accommodate retail hours up to 6 days per week Experience in footwear and/or health/wellness products is a plus Certification as a Pedorthist by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics, and Pedorthics (ABC) Strong clinical skills and experience in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Passion for helping others and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care If hired you are eligible for a great benefits package including Health Insurance, 401K, paid vacation time and more.
