About the Role We are seeking an experienced Bench Jeweler to join our growing team. This role focuses on high-volume repair work and production assembly in a fast-paced, quality-driven workshop where precision and efficiency are essential. The ideal candidate is confident, detail-oriented, and takes pride in producing consistent, high-quality work. This position supports two retail locations and requires flexibility to work between both sites as needed (approximately 35 minutes apart). What You'll Do Perform high-volume jewelry repairs with speed and accuracy Complete ring sizing, soldering, prong re-tipping, stone replacement, and general repair work Execute stone setting work, including sensitive stones such as emeralds and other soft gemstones Perform laser welding as part of repair and production work Assemble production-style custom pieces using prefabricated components Support turnaround goals of under one week for repairs Maintain consistent output in a high-demand workshop environment Required Skills & Experience 3+ years of proven experience as a bench jeweler in a repair-focused or production environment Stone setting across multiple styles and shapes, including fancy and high-value stones Experience with providing repair estimates, performing jewelry appraisals, and replacing watch batteries Experience utilizing a laser welder Work confidently with a variety of metals, including silver, gold, and platinum Strong knowledge of standard jewelry repair techniques (sizing, soldering, prong work, stone replacement) Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment Must be reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Compensation Salary range: $60,000 to $100,000 annually Final compensation is based on experience, skill level, and performance in a bench test Additional Information Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate Must be open to working between two nearby locations as needed Bench test required for final evaluation Portfolio or photos of previous work may be requested
