Part-Time Jewelry Associate

We are looking for a part time employee to help us buy precious metals, as well as describe and enter data from the jewelry that we buy into a computer program that we use for police reporting. When there are no customers selling, the employee will focus on helping run our ebay store. As a part-time associate with Arthur Yates and Son Jewelers, your main responsibilities would be: Precious metal buying (Gold & silver jewelry, silver flatware, and platinum jewelry.) Data entry for jewelry that we buy and have to process at the point of sale. Brief descriptions for jewelry pieces are written as well as photos are taken as part of this process. When not buying or processing jewelry buys, you are focusing on selling on our ebay page. This includes the listing, photographing, and shipping of jewelry items. Other smaller tasks such as answering the phone, taking in and delivering repairs, cleaning customer jewelry, etc.

Experience:

Previous experience in the jewelry industry is ideal. Minimum High School Education or equivalent. Excellent written and communication skills. Typing skills are a must. Experience listing on online marketplaces such as ebay is preferred.
