Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

Here at Maui Divers Jewelry, you're not only an employee you are a part of our 'ohana As a jewelry maker this position is part of creating beautiful jewelry, individual must be self-motivated, organized, dependable and energetic and willing to work in a team.
RESPONSIBILITES
Flexible to other departments with various tasks Identify workflow needs and communicate with Supervisor Cross training in different functions of jewelry making Clean castings with wet grinder remove sprue memory Help in Lapidary department and grind shells
QUALIFICATIONS
Excellent visual perception, hand movements and ability to handle repetitive hand motion Highly motivated team player Ability to multi-task, organized, critical thinking and problem solving skills Must show initiative, willingness to learn, drive and flexibility Computer skills to include Word, Excel and Outlook is a
PLUS PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time Ability to do repetitious tasks with wrist and hands Must have steady hands with good eye to hand coordination Good close vision and depth perception Ability to lift 30-50 pounds Squat, bend & lean to reach confined areas Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions in oral, written or diagram form Ability to work in environment with moderate noise level Must be able to follow safety rules and procedures and perform work in a safe manner Additional Responsibilities Special projects will be assigned as needed.
