Bench Jeweler / Goldsmith Priddy Jewelers - Kentucky Full-Time or Part-Time | Flexible Schedule Priddy Jewelers is seeking an experienced Bench Jeweler / Goldsmith to join our long-standing, family-owned jewelry store. This position is opening after many years, and we are looking for a skilled professional who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, repairs, and stone setting. About the Role This role focuses primarily on jewelry repairs and stone setting. Most custom work is outsourced; however, the jeweler will set center stones as needed. We are flexible with scheduling and open to both full-day and half-day arrangements, based on what works best for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities Perform jewelry repairs, including ring sizing, chain repair, soldering, and polishing Stone setting (melee through larger center stones up to 3-5 carats) Use laser welding equipment and traditional bench tools Repair and restore customer-owned jewelry with care and precision Maintain a clean, organized, and professional bench workspace Qualifications Proven experience as a Bench Jeweler / Goldsmith Strong repair background (this is a repair-heavy position) Stone setting experience required Experience using laser welders preferred (Cisma laser welder on site) Ability to work independently and efficiently High attention to detail and craftsmanship Professional, reliable, and team-oriented Equipment & Work Environment Fully equipped bench provided Modern laser welder (Cisma) plus traditional tools Mix of newer and well-maintained equipment Supportive, respectful team in a well-established store Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay - up to ~$100,000 annually, based on experience and skill level Flexible scheduling (full-time or part-time options) Potential relocation assistance available for the right candidate Additional Notes We are open to out-of-area candidates and strongly encourage experienced jewelers willing to relocate to apply Bench testing will be part of the interview process Long-term opportunity with stability in a trusted local business
