About the Roles This is a unique opportunity to join a distinguished jewelry company that handles everything from basic repairs to advanced custom work, as well as everything in between. Our shop is fully equipped with in-house capabilities, including laser technology, casting equipment, and CAD resources, though CAD experience is not required. Bench Jeweler (Entry to Mid-Level) Focused on core repair work and foundational bench skills, including sizing, polishing, and basic stone setting. Master Jeweler (Senior Level) Handles complex repairs, advanced stone setting, and high-value custom pieces. Ideal for highly skilled professionals with strong technical expertise. Jewelry Repair Consultant (Client-Facing) Works directly with customers to assess repairs, provide accurate estimates, and guide them through solutions. Ideal for candidates with hands-on bench experience and strong technical knowledge of jewelry, who can clearly translate that expertise to clients. We are hiring multiple positions within our team. Candidates with experience in bench work, advanced custom jewelry, or client-facing repair consultations are encouraged to apply! Key Responsibilities Execute high-quality jewelry repairs including sizing, soldering, polishing, and stone setting Perform precise work using laser equipment and other advanced tools Contribute to custom and complex jewelry projects based on experience level Handle high-value items with care, accuracy, and attention to detail Collaborate with a skilled team to meet turnaround times and quality standards For client-facing roles, assess repairs, provide estimates, and guide customers through solutions with professionalism and clarity Ideal Candidate Profile 3+ years of bench experience for entry to mid-level roles 5+ years or advanced expertise for senior-level positions Strong technical proficiency in repairs and stone setting; laser experience preferred High level of craftsmanship, precision, and attention to detail Comfortable working on both standard repairs and high-end, complex pieces Strong communication skills, particularly for client-facing candidates Passion for fine jewelry, quality workmanship, and continuous skill development Compensation $50,000 to $150,000 annually, commensurate with experience and technical ability Final compensation determined following in-person bench test and skill evaluation Benefits Health insurance with employer contribution of 50% Dental and vision coverage 401(k) with 3% company match Paid time off + sick leave Relocation assistance We invite skilled and passionate professionals to become part of the Friend & Company family.
