We are seeking a skilled Repair Jeweler to join our team and uphold the craftsmanship and quality our customers have trusted for generations. About the Role As a Repair Jeweler, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of jewelry repair, restoration, and alteration work. You will work closely with our production team to deliver exceptional results on every piece that passes through your bench; from simple cleanings to complex structural rebuilding. Responsibilities Consistently produce high-quality repair and restoration work Complete assigned work orders accurately and in a timely fashion Identify repair issues and collaborate with the production team to resolve them Efficiently manage your workload to ensure maximum output Communicate clearly and professionally with the production team and, when applicable, with customers Required Skills & Services General Repairs Basic cleaning and polishing Ring resizing (up and down, with and without stones) Shank repair and reinforcement Hinge repair Pearl restringing and gluing Clasp Repair & Replacement Claw/Spring, Box, Magnetic, Bayonet, Fold Over, and Catches Soldering Repairs Chains, ear posts and wire, jump rings, ring combining, bail replacement and repair, crack repair in solid and hollow pieces Prong Work Retipping and rebuilding via soldering and/or laser welding Work around sensitive gemstones Stone tightening and minor setting repair Stone Setting Center stones and accent stones Invisible, channel, pavé, bezel, and flat/gypsy settings Restoration & Structural Rebuilding Fabrication of unavailable or unique components Design alteration requests General Fabrication Skills Precious metal fabrication, soldering, and finishing Safe operation of power tools including flex shafts, bench grinders, and polishing motors Problem-solving production and repair issues Experience 2+ years in jewelry repair, manufacturing, or a related field preferred Job Type Full-Time | In-Person 8-hour shifts
