Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with clients on antique pieces and custom options, educating customers on gemstones and historical styles, handling purchases and sales of estate jewelry, and coordinating with repair and custom services. The role also collaborates with leadership on sales goals, local marketing initiatives, in-store events, and continuous improvement of boutique performance and client experience. Qualifications Strong leadership and team management abilities, including staff mentoring, scheduling, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive work environment. Retail sales and customer service skills, with experience in consultative selling, relationship building, and handling high-value transactions with care and professionalism. Knowledge of jewelry, gemstones, and antique/vintage styles (e.g., Victorian, Art Deco), or a demonstrated willingness and ability to learn quickly. Communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal communication, active listening, and the ability to educate customers in an accessible, engaging way. Basic marketing and event-support skills, such as assisting with local promotions, in-store events, and collaboration with online or social media initiatives. Ability to stand for extended periods, handle small items with care, and maintain attention to detail in a busy retail environment. Previous experience in jewelry, luxury retail, or boutique management is preferred; a background in art, design, fashion, or history is a plus. Must have weekend availability.
