Full-time Job Description:

True Industries is searching for a skilled Design Detailer at its main Tool & Die facility (Roseville, MI). Entry level applicants need not apply. The ideal candidate for this position will have some detailing or relevant experience in developing 2D prints of die sections used for machining and assembly purposes. This position directly reports to the Design Manager and will require moderate computer skills. True Industries, Inc. may consider a tuition reimbursement contract with qualifying candidates for this position for additional training.

Examples of work performed:

(The following duties are typical for this position and these examples may not cover all the duties to be performed)

• Utilize software (Siemens NX) to develop detail prints for shop use
• Plot, blueprint and measure designs and details
• Ensure all customer criteria and requirements are met in work completed
• Archive, supply design information, store prints and files
• Review and correct design non-conformance
• Continuously review all aspects of job performed for improvements
• Adhere to and continually learn company policies/processes

Basic Qualifications:

• Prior drafting and print experience required (1-2 years)
• Firm understanding of drafting and 2D drawing concepts
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently use and learn design software (CAD, NX, Catia, etc.)
• Strong computer, organizational and concentration skills
• Professional attitude with open mindset and initiative-based work ethic

Preferred Qualifications:

• Die build or related experience with detailing

Employment Type:

Hourly, Full-time, Monday - Friday (Hours flexible for in-school candidates)

Payment:

Starting at $20/hr. Negotiable based upon experience.
