This role supports a secure and well-maintained educational environment by installing, repairing, and maintaining locks, master key systems, access control systems, door hardware, security containers, badges, and key management records. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced locksmith who wants to apply their technical skills in a stable, mission-driven setting where safety, reliability, and service matter every day. The work environment values teamwork, clear communication, and dependable support for students, staff, and campus operations. You will be part of a team focused on maintaining safe school facilities while working with leadership that understands the importance of quality security systems and skilled trades professionals. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair locking devices, security containers, door closing hardware, and related security hardware. Maintain and repair electronic access control systems across educational facilities. Reproduce keys, create badges, and maintain accurate key control and security records. Support and maintain master key systems, including independent work on keying and access/security platforms. Read and interpret written, graphic, and oral instructions to complete locksmith and security maintenance tasks accurately. Respond to lock, key, door hardware, and access control service needs while supporting overall school safety. Compensation and Benefits Direct hire opportunity.
Pay rate:
$19.78 per hour.
